- Hi, I'm Kia. I'm 16 years old. I am a SENIOR at SHS. CLASS OF 10!!!I love GOD and Jesus Christ and am diving more and more into the word of God to be able to serve Him one day hopefully as a Youth Minister.I play Soccer, and run Track and Field. I hope to play professional soccer for an International club or MLS team but if that doesn't work out then I'll go to college to get my master's degree in Pre-Medicine and bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry.I have AMAZING friends: Isias,Efrain, Derek, Filemon!, Sami(my secret gf...lol...don't hurt me gene =),Kayla Marie!!,Anna Kathryn,Sarajo!!, Bickman,Reed, D-LEE!,Christian, and definitely my theater friends:Heather Lamos...hehehe Serafina Rahmanian...uhh I mean Sager..lol.. ;),Cameron,KELLY!! and last but not least my brothers...Gene,Glenn and SEEBSIE!!!! We have weird but FUN times...and not to mention a beautiful, caring, smart, funny, intelligent girlfriend by the name of MARIE VIOLA FARMER!!! =)

ReplyDeleteI'm truly glad you're back with us agian this summer. I know you have a lot on your plate, but I think you'll find that the performing arts will give you a lot of wonderful skills that you will carry with you as you venture on to all the wonderful things you have ahead of you! I know you were not expecting - or even wanting - the role of Shang, but remember the stuff we shared with you at orientation. We try to fit each of you with an appropriate challenge, and we saw something in you that you don't see in yourself! Trust us! :)

Ok so I'm going back to last week, but Kia I just wanted to say you have an amazing voice. If you didn't, you wouldn't be Shang. You have all the potential in the world and I honestly admire you for actually auditioning for a larger role even if you weren't comfortable. I would give anything to have half the talent and guts you have. Even if your not comfortable with singing in front of people (neither am I =) you do it amazingly. Never give up Kia cause you're doing amazing.
